My creative space...

Lots of sorting out and tidying up going on in the space this week before I head off to China on Saturday for two weeks (for work but there will be some play of course).

What's going down in this little section:

- Packaging an order for new stockist Reverse Garbage, eco-felt lavender birds and embroidered brooches are on their way.

- The new issue of Mix Tape in case of delayed flights and Mr Suave notebook from Jellygnite.

- A pile of books for book club. If you've read any Haruki Murakami I'd love to know which is your favourite?

There's also lots of organising of hand sewing into little travel bags, if only there was a way to take these on the plane then I would be truly happy, oh well guess I'll just have to force myself to take a break and watch some in-flight movies ;)

For more creative spaces or to show off your own head over to Kootoyoo.

Have a great time in China! I'm jealous, would love to visit.

Haruki Murakami is one of my favourite authors - LOVE Norwegian Wood and Kafka on the Shore. :)

Plane travel is such a missed crafty opportunity. Each time I wonder if they really would confiscate a crochet hook. Have a great trip.

Such a shame you can't do any of your lovely handiwork on the plane. But I guess there is always the danger that you're going to pop into the cockpit and embroider the pilot to death, isn't there?

hehe, yeah I am prone to embroidering people to death so I guess it is a good thing :)

I'm a huge Murakami fan! My favourite is "Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the end of the World" (warning - it's really out there) and "Kafka on the Shore" (I just read it again before I had bub. But I love pretty much all of his stuff.

Have a safe and fun trip!

By the way, I have read every book by Haruki Murakami. He is one of my favorite authors! The Wild Sheep Chase was the first one I read.

Cute little birds!

Murakami is one of my all-time favorites. It's hard to pick a favorite novel though--maybe Sputnik Sweetheart?

Have a great trip. :)
