Giving thanks

Just a little thank you to the lovely bloggers out there who made me smile when I got home from my trip.

I arrived home to find a little package from Lisa of The Princess and the Monkey with the reversible purse above inside. It's made from Joel Dewberry and Amy Butler fabrics as part of Pay it Forward. It's divine and did I mention reversible! She's so clever. I really should make a start on my PIF gifts this week.

Super blogger Charlotte of Fancy Picnic gave me an 'I heart your blog' award. So here are some blogs I heart.

apple cyder
ellieboo
pocket carnival
curly pops
udder
hokey

The very talented Marian from Florcita also awarded me with being 'brillante'! So I'm passing this on to a couple of others who fit the title :)

Do take the time to check out the talents behind these blogs, you won't regret it!

on my desk ...

No sewing this week unfortunately but there has been a bit of knitting while relaxing in front of a movie.
I managed to knock a couple more books off the reading pile namely Justin Paton's How to look at a painting and Dave Hickey's Air Guitar. I highly recommend both in particular Paton's book, a great and easy read if you know nothing or everything about art.
Plus some gorgeous fabric arrived from Amitie's VIP club, I already have plans for these although it may have to wait a few weeks.
For more on my desk... and a good read check out the lovely Kootoyoo.
