I ventured out of my hotbox of a unit last night to enjoy the super cool air con of the cinema. The toss up: True Grit or Black Swan. I figured the Coen Brothers wouldn't let me down.
Oh it looks good, the original with The Duke was excellent. I'll wait for the DVD such is life with 4 children & a husband living interstate, ho hum. Big Matt Damon fan - took a while after The Talented Mr Ripley, oh, that really put me off him for a long time. Now he has like 4 daughters, i love him again!! Black Swan, wow, looks amazing but as the little sister of a prima ballerina, it might not be my thing. Love Posie
I plan to see this on the weekend. I don't really have an opinion on Matt Damon. It depends what he's in & I agree you can't go wrong with the Coens. We saw Black Swan last week, good too!

Yeah I wasn't too sure about Matt Damon but he's really good in this, comes down to good directing I reckon.
i haven't seen it - but i think my husband and i would get a kick out of it anyway. :)

I love this movie, but I am in love with all westerns, so maybe it's a bit biased :)
