helping north queensland

It's been a tough start to the year for Queenslanders to say the least, with flooding in Brisbane followed quickly by Cyclone Yasi in the North there's a lot of clean up to be done and a lot of money to be raised.

The amazing team at BrisStyle is stitching, cutting, glueing and crocheting into the night to continue the Handmade Ark Appeal which has raised $3646 to date for both flood and cyclone affected people. Check out what's on offer from BrisStylers here.

As part of Handmade Ark during the month of February 100% of sales from my little shop will be donated to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal including all takings from the next BrisStyle Indie Twilight Market on 25 February from 5-9pm at King George Square, Brisbane CBD.

So what are you waiting for? Get shopping and head to the Handmade Ark or my little shop.

OR even better give this post a little facebook and tweet with the buttons above to help spread the word :)

Yay for the Handmade Ark ... my family are in Mossman and they went 'up the hill' to shelter in my grandpa's house as it has a cement work space downstairs. Mum said it was so scary when the winds hit. Lucky all their stuff is fine just a trashed garden and trees all over the driveway!
