My creative space

I'm whipping up this little one for a baby shower on the weekend. It's a Hilary Lang design from Joelle Hoverson's book Last-Minute Patchwork + Quilted Gifts. Has anyone made it? Or anything else from this book?

There are more creative spaces over at Kootoyoo.

Also just want to say thank you to Chris for including my bird on her blog this week. If, like me, you love brooches then you must go and check out her shop.

What a beautiful floral print you've chosen to use. I have the book but haven't made anything from it. I just like to read it and look at all the pretty pictures.

I have the book, and used the pattern for the pencil rolls. It's a gorgoeus book, I have the knitting one too. I was going to use the coasters idea to make a bag for my new camera. You've actually reminded me, thanks!
PS The elephant is really cute.

Are you using the exact same fabric as the picture? That's commitment!

oh! my husband and I both made Peanut! Yes, he sat down to sew one! I've also made the bird ornament, a stacked coin quilt and puzzle ball. Oh and the coasters, pillowcase and pencil roll. I guess I've really used my copy!
