spring basket weaving

A few weeks ago we kicked off the first in a series of three Spring basket weaving with textiles workshops at The Craft Nest. The first one was exposed core buttonhole (or blanket) stitch and the results were really lovely.

Can't wait to see Michelle's completed water bottler carrier!

Great company, great food and a really beautiful session of slow crafting. I'm really looking forward to getting together and unwinding at the next one.

For the next session we'll be doing lazy squaw stitch, there are a couple of spots left:

Lazy Stitch (pictured above)Date: Sunday 19 October, 1-5pm
Venue: The Craft Nest, Fallon Cottage, 30 Fallon Street, Everton Park
Cost: $50. Your spot will be confirmed on receipt of payment.
Bookings: essential, email rebecca@edwardandlilly.com for payment details and a list of what to bring.
Hope to see you then!

Beautiful blog and basketry, especially the last one. I'm wondering if you can tell me where you sourced your fibre rush from? I'm in Adelaide and haven't been able to find any locally. I usually use rushes and reeds but for the purpose a workshop I'm running. Thanks - Ellie

The initial phase in doing as such is gathering the previous three months worth of bank, charge card, and credit articulations. This will enable you to decide the amount you have spent in the course of recent months by including the majority of your expenses and separating that sum by three to get a normal. Have you found that you are spending more than you make? It doesn't appear to be conceivable however that is the thing that happens when you need to take out here and now advances, get from charge cards, or defer auto installments in light of the fact that your income is missing the mark.
