As well as stitching and sewing, Brown Owl-ing, BrisStyle-ing, tutoring, travelling and working this year I've also been spending my time searching for the perfect first home (or apartment) to call my own :)
It took a while but when I saw it online I knew it was for me, two giant windows in the sewing room mean loads more natural light. I may not be able to cook a meal properly yet, find half my clothes and be surrounded by boxes but my little creative piece of heaven is almost set up, I think I have my priorities right :)

Weaving with Ghostnets
If you follow me on instagram (@edwardandlilly) then you already know what I've been up to lately but for those who don't here are a few quick pics from my trip to the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair to check out some amazing art and Lockhart River to catch up with my sister and beautiful nieces (oh and to look at more art, hehe).
Loving the Ghostnets signage
Lockhart River dancers at CIAF
Gotta love that red soil
So nice seeing horses living in the wild roaming around the streets of Lockhart
Spending hours looking through hundreds of canvases at Lockhart River Art Centre - how spoilt were we!
