Breaking up wholesale order production line monotony with the new issue of
MixTape.
The tiny embroideries are for lavender birds and the vintage hankie needle case is from
Selina's Vintage. There's a
needlework one in her shop that's really, really cute, but be quick!

LOVING the way your wholesale sheet of embroidery looks but sorry to read the monotony bit.
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca.
ReplyDelete"production line monotony" - I hear ya. But it looks so pretty!
What linen are you working with?
I hadn't ordered any 'natural' in my original Duckcloth order but put in a second order that arrived on Monday. I was thinking of sending you a swatch of each if you're interested. Will email you.
Oh cool, that would be great!
ReplyDeleteThis linen is one from Kelani, the linen I usually use for these has run out, it was a remnant but this one seems to be going ok although it's not as thick as the other one.
lovely photo Rebecca all the little embroideries lined up!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful...it looks like a very peaceful space
ReplyDeletethey look so lovely though! thanks for the plug, glad you like the needlecase!
ReplyDeleteI think monotony is the one thing I struggle with while crafting. Sometimes I just want everything I do to be new. But I love the embroidery you're doing! So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHmm yes, the monotony can be brain-blowing at times, but how exquisite are the results you achieve! These are just gorgeous Rebecca. K
ReplyDeleteIt's like you are a little sweat shop! Happy Embroidering :-)
ReplyDeletewow, it really is a production line
ReplyDeleteMonotonous or not, your handiwork is sublime.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could production-line embroider like that! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat sheet of embroidery would look so stunning framed and up on my wall!! I always love your creative space.

ReplyDeleteit looks really pretty ~ can see it on the wall too :)
ReplyDeleteIt must be such a peaceful activity to embroider but I'm glad you have back up for when it gets too monotone. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear it is monotonous, but your embroidery looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing to see how the production line works. I would never have envisioned all that embroidery all in a row. Genius even if monotonous!
ReplyDeleteOh all of that beautiful embroidery looks so amazing! I would love to wear it on a skirt! Such a wonderful space!
ReplyDeleteSophie x
agree with the above ~ it does look lovely all in rows like that
ReplyDeletewow... your embroidery is EXQUISITE!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very cute production line, all the same, and so much better to do things this way rather than one by one. Call it eye candy production line instead and you might feel happier about it!!
ReplyDeleteThat is one cool needle case! And I love the embroidery!
ReplyDeletei always love your embroidery - such beautiful and simple stitches!
ReplyDeletex nadine
little lovelies
So this is how you do it! Beautiful embroidery!
ReplyDeleteI love how perfect and delicate they all look.
ReplyDeleteYour embroidery is really lovely. But you do need a change of scene sometimes. I love that little needlecase.
ReplyDeleteA lovely and inspiring space as always
ReplyDeleteToo late for the needlecase that's sold! Darn!
ReplyDeleteCrafting /sewing for others always brings the desire for balance between creativity and production. I am impressed by you do a whole sheet of embroidering. I made lavendar sachets as a teen with each one free-hand embroidered and while i got a lot done my production rate could have been significantly improved because I always sold out.
ReplyDelete(Hit the submit too soon) Your work is exquisite and great taste in other's (Selina's) handiwork. I am looking forward to getting my production (of felt purses) up to speed so I can buy other crafter's work.
ReplyDeleteOh Rebecca, they look beautiful. Thanks for the nice big pic so we could have a proper look and sigh. Especially at the Dandelion, my fav.
ReplyDeleteYour dandelions are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust found your lovely little space.
Look forward to reading more.
PS I have a little boy called edward
